A Guide To Internet Dating
Finding Mr or Ms Right is something we all wish for. The problem is how, when and where to find them.
Over the past few years Internet dating has become very popular with around 80% of people over the age of 40 using Internet dating services to find a partner
Internet dating has one major advantage over meeting someone in a bar. You get to discover all about them before you have even said ‘Hi’ You can find out their place of birth, their religion likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests and so on.
Internet dating allows you to chat online and get to know someone before meeting him or her. This will obviously increase the chances of finding that special someone.
Quite often you can discover more about a person by correspondence and therefore weed out the people you do not think would be suitable for friendship or a relationship.
Essentially when you meet someone in a bar or social event the physical attraction may well be there but quite often after the first couple of dates you find out you have absolutely nothing in common with them and the relationship stops there.
Before you sign up to an Internet dating agency check around to find out the best ones and more importantly agencies that will be right for you. Think about what you want to get out of the service whether it’s just a friendship or something more. Read some reviews about the agency first and how other people have found the service.
Once you have decided one of the most important things to get right is your picture.
This is the downside of Internet dating, the fact that you do not know whether you will be physically attracted to a person until you actually meet them. Making sure your photo is good quality, well lit and a close up shot of your face is essential as many people will be put off if they cannot make out what you look like because the photo is of poor quality and does not show what you look like.
Once you have selected a possible date engage in plenty of discussion with them prior to meeting them. Never disclose too much personal information about yourself or where you live. If a person pressures you to disclose information about yourself that you feel uncomfortable with end the communication right there. Any genuine contact will appreciate why you are being cautious with this information and will not try and manipulate it out of you.
The thing to remember when Internet dating is to have fun as well as make friends and meet potential partners.
Internet Guide for Physicians
According to a Pew Internet & American Life Project study “Health Information Online,” eight in ten internet users have looked for health information online, with increased interest in diet, fitness, drugs, health insurance, experimental treatments, and particular doctors and hospitals. It was also found that women younger than 65, with college degrees are the most likely to use the internet for health information. Interestingly enough this is same target customer for cosmetic procedures.
The WebMD Health Network averaged approximately 41.7 million unique monthly users with total traffic of approximately 963 million page views during the first quarter. This was an increase in unique monthly users of approximately 43% from the prior year.
Both of these statistics confirm the importance of comprehensive websites for physicians who primarily deal in non-reimbursable procedures, such as aesthetic medicine. Since patient education is a critical component in building a successful aesthetic medicine practice, the web gives the physician a great opportunity to educate the patient before they get to the office. In addition, many patients are unsure of what most aesthetic treatments entail, including Botox, Perlane, Juvederm, and Restylane injections, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and laser skin resurfacing. It is important that aesthetic medicine physicians are prepared to spend time to help educate their patients. This is where leveraging the internet to educate your patients can really help an aesthetic practice.
Physician web sites should be kept simple, but must have some critical information. You need to identify your services with before and after photos, benefits, possible side affects and risks. Try and get some photos of your facility, and include information about you and your staff. The goal is to build confidence in you and your practice.
It is estimated that over 50% of your patients will visit your web page before they come in. It’s also important not to forget to include your general practice information, like hours of operation, address, phone number, parking information, and even a map.
Patients aren’t the only ones using the internet, eMedicine.com provides physicians and healthcare professionals detailed clinical information relevant to the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of medical conditions. Aesthetic medicine is such a fast growing field, the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine gives their members access to WebMD’s eMedicine institutional database as part of a membership benefit.
More often than not, your web site is the first impression that a potential patient has of your practice. Make sure the impression you give is favorable. The information needs to be accurate and up to date, and reflect the professionalism of your practice.
By including information about the procedures you perform on your web site is a great way to help reduce the amount of time you spend educating your patient in your office. This will allow them to be better prepared, and give you both a more productive consultation.
A Quickstart Internet Marketing Guide
I get asked this question all the time so I thought I would write a quick article to clear the air once and for all. So what’s the question people ask me? It’s this; what’s the very first thing I should do as an Internet marketer with no budget to get my site off the ground and start earning money as quickly as possible?
I don’t care what your website is about, I don’t care if you’re selling a product or selling a service or creating a membership site of some sort, or marketing a newsletter, or whatever, my advice is always the same for those just starting out on a shoestring budget, or no budget at all.
This is what I recommend you do. Head over to Google and type in the phrase “keyword tool”. The first listing that comes up will be the free Google keyword tool. Use that free tool to research different keywords that relate to whatever it is you’re selling.
The idea is to find 10 keywords that directly relate to your website. You’re going to want to use “exact match” as opposed to “broad match” for reasons I won’t get into in this article. Basically this is just a setting that you will see if you look around on the main page of the keyword tool, just click exact match from drop down box.
Now I said you need 10 keywords, 20 would be better but let’s say 10 because it’s easier. You’re looking for keywords they get searched for between 500 and 800 times per month, that’s all.
I know, that flies in the face of conventional wisdom that says you should pick keywords that get searched for as much as possible, like thousands of times a month, but the fact remains that when you’re first starting out it’s very hard to get ranked at the search engines for those mega keywords.
On the other hand, a keyword that only gets searched for 500 times a month is very low, competitively speaking. That means that without much effort whatsoever, you can usually get your website ranked on the first page of Google’s results for that keyword and with a little effort probably even in the top three.
Once you find 10 keywords, go back to your website and write ten new web pages, one about each of those keywords. Make the title of the page that keyword, add that keyword to your header tags (H1, H2, etc). And use that keyword in the first paragraph of text and the last paragraph of text. Be sure to write at least 500 words about that keyword, more is better.
Next, start linking to each of those web pages, using the keyword in the anchor text. You can do this by posting blog comments on other people’s websites, posting forum comments, doing article marketing where you use those keywords in the author’s resource box, or any other way you can think of.
You probably only need to get a few links pointing at each of those pages in order for the search engines to quickly pick up on your site.
What’s the point? If you can get ranked in the top three for each of those 10 keywords, and they each bring in 500-800 visitors per month, you’re looking at a potential 5,000 to 8,000 free targeted visitors to your web site, relatively easily.
And that’s a great quickstart to your marketing efforts!
Internet Marketing Guide
As one of the most common questions, any kind of Internet marketing guide just won’t do. It has to come from your personal and unique personality and how you that guide will match up to you.
In the same way, you cannot ignore the fact that certain guides might look attractive but often times it meets just form but not functionality. Its about time to perk up and learn the truths behind choosing a guide.
Truth 1: Handle Your Personal Struggles Before Choosing
You just can’t go out there and pick any kind of Internet marketing guide without prior knowledge about yourself and your business struggles. Sure, we all want to earn our share in life and live the good ones.
However, being able to know what we are going through at present will help you accelerate your search to the right solution. If you have a personal belief issue about your success, best to deal with it before you move on to other aspects such as the technical part of it.
Truth 2: Wisdom Beats Sexy
Okay, you might think that I’m getting all philosophical here but in reality, it is important. Wisdom is not just reading a book, it is an experience born through an adequate amount of application to know what works.
When you choose a certain guidebook or mentor popularity does not mean it will definitely help you in your journey. You need to be able to know if that information presented within will assist you in your current obstacles in your business and to help you grow.
Truth 3: Seek To Serve And Take Less Opportunities
Interestingly, people often get this wrong at times. But we know you’re different, you know the rules of the game. There are tons of opportunities everywhere online especially when you take advice from a certain Internet marketing guide.
Your goal is to in fact, look for an opening to serve others and help them achieve what they want. Solve more problems there’ll be more money. That is the simple fact in any kind of business relationship. Choose a guide which is serving and will teach you how to serve.
How To Optimize What You Learn
You can make the most out of any Internet marketing guide if you devote at least 20 days to fully immersing yourself to applying all that you learn. That is when you will literally grow financially and skillfully. You will learn all the details and what you can do to achieve certain things. After 20 days, you will have developed a sort of ‘habitual diligence’.
Internet Betting Guide
Finding great advice when trying to decide how to place your bets can be a difficult task. Everyone has an opinion but most of them you should not trust. Most of the people offering advice are die-hard sports fans, not successful sports bettors. There is a major difference.
Just because someone offers you some help, it doesn’t mean you should take it. If these people felt so confident in the advice they are giving, why aren’t they getting rich from sports betting? This is a question you need to ask yourself every time someone tells you where to put your money.
The best place to find sports betting advice is actually not from a person, it is from a sports betting system. Although they are built by humans, they use formulas that leave the human error out of the equation. Human error, which includes bias and subjectivity, is the biggest stumbling block for bettors and is what causes most people to lose their bets.
These systems offer winning percentages up to 97%. One particular system has won 294 NBA games during the past 5 seasons, losing just 8 times. One of the keys is the patience the system forces users to utilize. It doesn’t allow you to bet on more than 8% to 10% of the games during a season. Being this selective is the only way to win consistently.
These systems usually cost a couple hundred dollars. They offer unlimited picks so the fee is a one-time payment. Other betting advice sources offer picks for a season for an even higher price.
Internet Tablet Buying Guide
Internet tablets are a hot gadget these days. Internet tablets are handy little devices that give you Internet access in small form – smaller even than a netbook. Most tablets are slightly larger than a cell phone, and connect using a standard wireless connection. If you’re not sure which model to go with, consult this handy guide to help you out when you go internet tablet shopping.
One of the biggest manufacturers of internet tablets is Nokia. While they are mainly known for their cell phones, they have made some excellent tablets as well. The N810 is one such device, and is only slightly larger than a cell phone. Its keyboard slides out, and operates on a Linux-based system. The browser on the N810 is excellent – you can access most web sites with very little limitations. You can also watch streaming video, and make Voice Over IP calls – making it a sort of mobile phone in its own right.
Asus, which has been making some excellent netbooks, is also in the internet tablet market. The two models available are the EEE T91 and the EEE T101H. The screen is rather small, but overall the devices are much larger than Nokia’s tablet. You get a full keyboard, and the overall unit is just slightly smaller than a netbook. The neat thing about these tablets is that the screen swivels around that allow you to fold the screen on top of the keyboard, and un-fold it to use as a small laptop.
Another entrant is Sony, with the Walkman NWZ-X1000. This device is the smallest of the three mentioned, and is more of a video MP3 player with Internet support. There is no keyboard, but instead it uses a touch screen interface (similar to Apple’s iPod Touch). Certainly this is a device to consider if either the Nokia or Asus models are too expensive.
There a lot of reviews available online for all of these models, and in general Nokia and Asus get the best marks. However, you might also consider a company like OQO – a device similar in size. In any case, Internet tablets are quickly gaining momentum and there are likely to be many more models available as small, portable Internet devices become more popular.
Guide to Internet Marketing
This is a guide to internet marketing and I’ll be breaking this article into two sections.
The first section will give you an overview of what you are trying to accomplish, you’ll need to keep this in mind before you start.
The next section will give you a technical plan of action, this is what you’ll actually need to do to see success.
Having both of these in place is putting yourself on the path of victory, whatever that means to you.
So here is the high level overview. I like to imagine Google as a giant stream of traffic. People enter a phrase, a keyword, and Google brings them to a page which displays possible exits for them.
These exits are all labeled (website titles) and the water goes down a particular path. This stands for people choosing the website that best fits there needs when they search.
You want people to go down your path, so getting listed for a keyword and having a catchy title is your primary starting goal.
So on the technical side of things building say a Squidoo lens, very easy and free to do, gives you a listing in Google. Adding a catchy title to your Squidoo lens (keyword specific) starts grabbing you some of that juicy traffic.
You need traffic in internet marketing or you literally can’t do anything. If you aren’t willing to pay Google to try and send you traffic, your best bet is getting listed in the search engines with a catchy title. I recommend Squidoo because Google already favors it, Hubpages is another website that you can use which Google favors.
So go out and create a listing right now, do it for fun. Pick your favorite activity and make a Squidoo lens or Hugpage on it, you have nothing to lose do this for the practice.
So back to the high level overview, next you are sending people from your site to a sales page they are interested in.
The technical side of this is as simple as adding links throughout your Squidoo lens and telling people to click on them. If you want to practice this step, sign up to Clickbank.com. Try and find a product (e-book) that fits your Squidoo lens, get your affiliate link from Clickbank (free), and tell people on your lens to click that link.
The more traffic you can get to click that link, the greater your potential profit. This means you are doing your job well, it takes a lot of time to learn to bring traffic from Google to a vendor elegantly.
Now if you can create these pathways and start gaining traffic, you’ll be a successful internet marketer in no time!
What a lot of young marketers need – is the free A-Z marketing tutorial I’ve put together. This is a no-cost way to get started! It literally covers everything I could think of over the course of about ten days.

The course really teaches you all the basics than covers some advanced materials and some really cool tricks. I try to explain everything in a really down to earth and simple fashion, gurus sometimes try and confuse you so much.
Features of a Good Online Poker Guide
The number of people making the transition from the traditional poker to online poker has been on the rise, in recent days. By traditional poker, we mean that which was played around tables with physically tangible cards, whereas by online poker, we mean that which is played over the Internet using ‘virtual cards’ by people who can be, and often are, miles apart.
Now most of the people making this transition will usually express an interest in gaining insight into the workings of online poker. So will the numerous other people whose first encounter with poker is over the Internet (and there are many such people, especially youngsters, who are encountering many things online before they have had the opportunity to experience them in the ‘offline world’). For all these people, the solution that is usually given as a way through which they can get to learn the workings of internet poker is by getting a good online poker guide.
There are many such online poker guides. And as with most things in life, the makers of each will make claims that theirs is the very best. The intended user of the poker guide, on the other hand, will be keen on getting that which can be termed as the very best online poker guide, so as to make their learning of the workings of online poker fast and effective. This is what leads them to a situation where they express an interest in knowing what goes into the making of a good internet poker guide – so that they can use that criterion in making a selection out of the numerous available resources developed and meant to guide poker players, as they get started on the game online.
Few people will argue with the assertion that a good online poker guide would be one that is written by credible authorities. A poker guide written by people who have actually been successfully involved in the game (over the Internet) would be better than one written by people whose understanding of poker is purely academic. It is very hard, actually impossible, to properly teach people that which you do not actually know at a personal level. A good way to check out the credibility of the authors of the various resources that are meant to guide poker players as they get started on the game online would be by conducting (internet) searches using their names, to see whether they have successful poker playing histories. At the very least, you should look at the credentials they present on the said poker guides, to see whether those make them authorities in the area.
A good online poker guide is that which is comprehensive in its coverage (rather than one that is skimpy in its coverage) of issues to do with Internet-based poker. In this regard, a good guide would be one that answers most questions that a novice would be likely to have regarding online poker. And this is important because we have seen resources meant to guide poker players who are making their first steps in the game online – but which far from answering the questions such novices to online poker are likely to have, ended up leaving them with even more questions! Comprehensiveness therefore becomes a very important factor here.
A good poker guide is one that is readable. This entails a number of things. Ideally, it should be presented in a reader-friendly format, which at the most basic level, would include careful choice of things such as fonts styles, font sizes graphic design and so on. At a more fundamental level, it would be the sort of a guide that moves the reader from ‘the known into the unknown’ – using things that the reader is obviously likely to conversant with as the foundations on which to build new knowledge. It should be a guide that takes into consideration the readers’ likely ignorance of matters to do with online poker without insulting their intelligence. It should be a guide that is clear from ambiguities. The makers of an online poker guide (as indeed the makers of any other type of guide) are supposed to know that the main reason people make reference to such guides is in an effort to clear ambiguities. It therefore does not make sense to present them with even more ambiguities, right in the guides they refer to in a bid to get clarification.
Exactly Which Is The Best SEO Guide?
SEO is important to every individual who owns a website. However, if you do not fully understand the technical aspects and do not have the funds to ask for professional help, you must find the information elsewhere. One of the best ways of doing this is to source some of the excellent information found in some of the best SEO guides available on the internet.
Even though you can download many SEO guides for free, many of them are misleading and contain out of date information. Therefore purchasing a current guide; and one that gets updated on a regular basis is by far the most sensible thing to do. The best way to find a top-notch SEO guide is either to ask other internet marketers for their choices, to do an online search or pose the question in a relevant forum.
In my opinion, the best SEO guides is the one published by Aaron Wall as it offers all of the professional advice you will need to become proficient in SEO. The ebook can be instantly downloaded and provides easy instructions that anyone can follow to effectively use the latest and most effective SEO techniques. By following his advice by building links and publishing information the right way, you will ensure your website climbs in the search engine rankings in record breaking time.
Ask any internet marketer about this book and he is almost guaranteed to say that it is without doubt one of the best SEO guides, if not the best internet marketing guide ever published. Perhaps the best part of SeoBook [http://www.rockettheprofit.com/seo2.htm] is the fact it reveals that money doesn’t necessarily need be spent. In other words, it doesn’t recommend investing thousands of dollars in optimization companies.
On a side note, when picking the best SEO guide, you must ensure that you get your money’s worth. As I’ve said, a top guide will encourage you to take control of the process yourself. What really matters with the that it should teach you how to achieve good search engine rankings without paying consultants exorbitant amounts of money.
To conclude, if you are not sure how to choose a guide on SEO, you can do several things:
- Ask respected internet marketers for advice on the best SEO guides.
- Go onto a SEO forum, and start talking with other marketers. Ask for their opinions.
- Do an online search for SEO guides then research those guides you’re considering purchasing or downloading for free.
Invest the time to find the best SEO guide before you shell out any money. Remember, the time you spend now will help you make money in the future.Ultimately, it is a much smarter idea to buy a SEO guide than to seek help from a professional because the process is easier, faster, and much cheaper. Such guides will also help you understand SEO, thus allowing you to ensure your Web sites rank higher in the search engines without spending too much money.
